Ingredients
35ml Monkey Shoulder Scotch Whisky
20ml Honey-Ginger Syrup*
25ml Lemon Juice
Dash of Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Method
- Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker
- Shake well with ice
- Strain over fresh ice in a whisky glass
- Garnish with candied ginger and a wedge of fresh lemon
*Honey-Ginger Syrup
- Equal parts honey and water
- Half a cup of sliced or grated fresh ginger
- Combine ingredients in a pot and simmer until honey is dissolved and ginger has infused to the desired level of intensity.
- Store in a clean bottle and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks
